SPAM® Gyoza

The ancient origins of Gyoza are shrouded in secret and
mystery. And this SPAM® Gyoza is no different. If we told
you its recipe, we’d have to kill you… with deliciousness!


  • 150g SPAM® Lite , chopped
  • Dumpling wrapper
  • 1/4 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp garlic, minced
  • 75g onion, minced
  • 100g cabbage, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Gyoza sauce
  • Water, for cooking gyoza
  • Cooking oil


  1. In a bowl, mix together SPAM® Lite, grated ginger, minced garlic, minced onion, cabbage, egg, cornstarch, and sesame oil.
  2. Wrap in dumpling skins.
  3. Heat non-stick pan and toast bottom of dumplings. Arrange well.
  4. Pour 1/2 cup water and cover pan.
  5. Steam fry dumplings for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Repeat with the rest of the dumplings.
  7. Serve with gyoza sauce.
